30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns

MEEJOY accepts eligible change-of-mind returns when a return request is submitted within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must:

  • Be unused, unworn and unwashed.
  • Be in its original condition.
  • Include the original packaging, tags and any accessories supplied with the item.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Items that have been worn, washed, altered, damaged after delivery or returned incomplete may not be accepted as a change-of-mind return.

Please contact MEEJOY before returning an item so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.

Change-of-Mind Return Costs

For approved change-of-mind returns:

  • Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees and other shipping-related charges are non-refundable.
  • A 20% restocking fee may be deducted from the refund amount for eligible change-of-mind returns.

Returned items will be inspected after they are received before an exchange or refund is processed.

These conditions apply to change-of-mind returns only and do not limit any rights or remedies that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by MEEJOY's change-of-mind return policy.

If an item is faulty, damaged, significantly different from its description, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy depending on the circumstances and the Australian Consumer Law.

Where a product is confirmed to have a problem:

  • A change-of-mind restocking fee will not be applied to any remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • MEEJOY will reimburse reasonable return postage costs where required under the Australian Consumer Law. Please retain your postage receipt.
  • Original packaging is not required in order to exercise rights that apply under the Australian Consumer Law, although reasonable proof of purchase may be requested.
Minor Problems

If a product has a minor problem, MEEJOY may choose to provide an appropriate remedy, such as a repair, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

If the problem cannot be fixed within a reasonable time, other remedies may become available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Major Problems

A product may have a major problem when, for example:

  • The problem would have stopped a reasonable consumer from buying the product if they had known about it beforehand.
  • The product is significantly different from its description, sample or demonstration model.
  • The product is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be made fit within a reasonable time.
  • The product is unsafe.

Where a product has a major problem under the Australian Consumer Law, the consumer may be entitled to choose between a refund or replacement.

Items Excluded From Change-of-Mind Returns

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns once opened, worn or used.

These may include:

  • Cosmetics where the hygiene seal has been broken.
  • Beauty products.
  • Fragrances.
  • Hosiery.
  • Underwear and intimate apparel.
  • Costumes, morph suits or garments that have been worn, washed, altered or used.
  • Food items.

These exclusions apply to change-of-mind returns only. They do not exclude, restrict or modify any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

When Consumer Guarantee Remedies May Not Apply

Consumer guarantee remedies may not apply where, for example:

  • You received what you ordered but simply changed your mind or made an incorrect selection.
  • The problem was caused by misuse, abnormal use or damage occurring after delivery.
  • You knew about the relevant fault before purchasing the product.
  • You requested that a product or service be supplied in a particular way against advice provided to you.
Refund Processing

Once your returned item has been received, MEEJOY will inspect the item and notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.

After MEEJOY issues a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

For approved change-of-mind returns, non-refundable original shipping charges and any applicable 20% restocking fee will be taken into account when calculating the refund.

Where a refund or another remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law, the applicable consumer guarantee rights will apply instead.
