These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MEEJOY website and purchases made through MEEJOY.
The website is operated by MEEJOY PTY LTD ("MEEJOY", "we", "us" or "our"), an Australian business based in Greater Sydney, New South Wales.
By accessing or using this website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with any policies expressly incorporated into them.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable law.

2. Eligibility & Website Use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
- Use the website in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent or intended to cause harm to MEEJOY, another person or the website.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, customer accounts, servers, systems or data.
- Introduce viruses, malware or other malicious or harmful technology.
- Interfere with the normal operation, security or availability of the website.
- Use automated systems to access the website in a manner that materially disrupts its operation or violates applicable law.
- Use MEEJOY content, images, trademarks or product information for unauthorised commercial purposes.
MEEJOY may take reasonable steps to protect the website, customers and our systems from fraud, misuse, security threats or unlawful activity.
3. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, colours, sizes, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, colours and appearance may vary depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, manufacturing batches and other reasonable production variations.
Measurements may also be subject to reasonable manufacturing or manual measurement tolerances where stated on the product page.
Please review the relevant product page carefully before placing an order, including:
- Product description.
- Size and measurement information.
- Colour and variant selection.
- What's included with the product.
- Material information where available.
- Processing or production information where applicable.
Accessories, footwear, props or other items shown in product photography are not included unless they are specifically stated as included on the relevant product page.
4. Historical-Inspired & Costume Products
Unless a product is expressly described otherwise, MEEJOY historical, Medieval, Renaissance, Viking, Victorian, Regency and similar products are costume, fashion or historically inspired products.
They should not be assumed to be museum reproductions, historically exact replicas or professional protective equipment unless expressly stated on the relevant product page.
Product descriptions referring to a historical period, character type, theme or style are generally intended to describe the design inspiration or intended costume use of the product.
5. Officially Licensed Products
MEEJOY offers selected officially licensed costume products sourced through established wholesale channels.
Official licensing applies only to products that are specifically identified as officially licensed on the relevant product page.
The presence of licensed products on the MEEJOY website does not mean that all products sold by MEEJOY are officially licensed.
6. Prices & Currency
Product prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the selected market or storefront where available.
Prices may change from time to time. A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted by MEEJOY.
Shipping charges, applicable taxes or other charges that MEEJOY collects will be displayed at checkout where applicable.

7. Pricing & Website Errors
Despite reasonable care, the website may occasionally contain an incorrect price, description, promotion, availability status or other error.
If we identify a material error before an order has been dispatched, MEEJOY may contact you to:
- Confirm whether you wish to proceed on the corrected basis; or
- Cancel the affected item or order and issue an applicable refund.
MEEJOY will not knowingly rely on an obvious error to mislead a customer or avoid rights that apply under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Placing an Order
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products shown in your order subject to these Terms.
An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted for fulfilment.
Subject to applicable law, an order is generally accepted when MEEJOY begins fulfilment or dispatches the relevant product.
We may need to review an order before accepting it, including where there is a stock issue, payment issue, unusual transaction activity, delivery restriction, pricing error or suspected fraud.
9. Right to Decline or Cancel an Order Before Dispatch
Before dispatch, MEEJOY may decline or cancel all or part of an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- A product is unavailable or out of stock.
- A material pricing or listing error has occurred.
- Payment cannot be authorised or verified.
- We reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised payment activity.
- The delivery address cannot reasonably be serviced.
- A product cannot lawfully be supplied to the requested destination.
- A technical or inventory error prevents fulfilment.
If MEEJOY cancels an item or order after payment has been received and the item has not been supplied, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled item will be refunded.
10. Product Availability & Out-of-Stock Items
Product availability shown on the website may change and is not guaranteed until an order has been accepted and fulfilled.
Inventory may be held across different fulfilment locations and availability may change because of sales activity, inventory adjustments, supplier availability or system delays.
If an ordered item becomes unavailable, MEEJOY may:
- Contact you to discuss available alternatives;
- Offer an alternative product for your approval;
- Cancel the unavailable item and refund the applicable amount; or
- Cancel the affected order where fulfilment is not reasonably possible.
MEEJOY will not automatically substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
11. Payment
Payment must be made using a payment method made available through the MEEJOY checkout.
Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers.
Orders may be subject to payment authorisation, verification and anti-fraud checks.
MEEJOY may delay fulfilment while a payment or transaction is being reasonably verified.
12. Promotions, Discounts & Promotional Codes
Promotions, promotional codes, coupons and sale offers may be subject to additional conditions displayed with the relevant offer.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Promotional offers are available for a limited period.
- Offers may apply only to eligible products or markets.
- Some products may be excluded.
- Promotional codes may not be combined with other offers.
- Only one promotional code may be accepted per order.
MEEJOY may refuse or cancel the use of a promotional code where it has expired, does not meet the stated conditions, has been used improperly or was issued or applied because of an obvious technical error.
13. Shipping & Delivery
Processing and delivery estimates vary by destination.
MEEJOY works with fulfilment locations including Sydney, Los Angeles and Hong Kong. The fulfilment location used for an order may depend on product availability, destination and operational requirements.
Orders containing multiple products may be delivered in separate parcels.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur because of customs processing, public holidays, severe weather, carrier disruption, remote delivery locations or other circumstances outside MEEJOY's reasonable control.

14. Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you discover an address error, contact MEEJOY as soon as possible. We will try to assist, but an address change may not be possible after an order has entered processing or has been dispatched.
Subject to applicable law, reasonable additional shipping costs may apply where an order requires reshipment because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address.
15. Local Pickup
Local pickup is not available unless a product, checkout option or MEEJOY customer service representative specifically confirms that local pickup is available for the relevant order.
Fulfilment and return locations should not be treated as retail stores or customer pickup locations unless expressly stated otherwise.
16. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Eligible change-of-mind returns are subject to the conditions set out in our official Refund Policy.
Please contact MEEJOY before sending any return so that the appropriate return instructions can be provided.
Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantee rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
17. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where goods fail to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee, remedies available to you will depend on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.
For a major failure with goods, Australian Consumer Law may give the consumer the right to choose between a refund or replacement.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any right to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage where such a right applies under the Australian Consumer Law.
18. Returns Assessment
MEEJOY may reasonably inspect returned products in order to determine the condition of the product, the nature of the issue and the appropriate remedy or return treatment.
An assessment does not remove or restrict rights that apply under Australian Consumer Law.
19. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the MEEJOY website and its original content, branding, graphics, layout, photographs, text and other materials are owned by or licensed to MEEJOY and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping and informational purposes.
Without permission or another lawful basis, you must not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, distribute, modify or create derivative commercial materials from MEEJOY-owned website content.
Third-party trademarks, character names, product imagery and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
20. Customer Reviews & User Content
If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, comment or other content to MEEJOY for publication, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content.
You grant MEEJOY a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and use that submitted content for reasonable purposes connected with operating, marketing and promoting MEEJOY and its products.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your original content to MEEJOY.
You must not submit content that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or deliberately misleading.
- Infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Contains malicious software or harmful code.
- Includes personal information about another person without authority.
MEEJOY may moderate or remove submitted content where reasonably necessary, including where it breaches these Terms or applicable law.
21. Third-Party Services & Links
The MEEJOY website may use or link to third-party services, including payment services, delivery carriers, social platforms or other websites.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. MEEJOY does not control independent third-party websites.
22. Website Availability
We aim to keep the MEEJOY website available and functioning properly, but continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, security requirements, third-party service interruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEEJOY is not responsible for loss or damage caused solely by:
- Your misuse of the website or a product.
- Your failure to follow product instructions or reasonable warnings.
- Unauthorised access caused by your failure to reasonably protect your own account credentials.
- Events or actions of independent third parties outside MEEJOY's reasonable control, except to the extent MEEJOY is legally responsible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MEEJOY will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that are not reasonably foreseeable and are not caused by a breach of an applicable legal obligation by MEEJOY.
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies liability, consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
24. Customer Accounts
Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for taking reasonable steps to keep your login credentials confidential.
Please contact MEEJOY if you believe your account has been used without authorisation.
MEEJOY may temporarily restrict access to an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, security concerns or misuse.

MEEJOY handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

26. Changes to These Terms
MEEJOY may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, services, legal requirements or operational practices.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised Last updated date.
Changes will generally apply prospectively from the date they are published and will not remove rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be read down or severed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.
28. No Waiver
If MEEJOY does not immediately exercise a right available under these Terms, this does not necessarily mean that the right has been waived.
29. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you.
Nothing in this provision is intended to prevent a consumer from exercising rights available under a law that cannot validly be excluded by agreement.
